Great Discipline Experiment: Day 10.5

Best. Day. Yet.

It’s 12:30A and I actually touched, filed, and/or tossed every single thing on my desk. Check out my empty inbox. It took all day and I feel so cheerful and refreshed right now. Good night.

Cleaning always makes me feel more productive too!

It seems like the intention is at least present everyday even if the full plan isn’t carried out. I have come to realize that it is unrealistic to expect every day to go as planned but if I at least make decisions with my intentions in mind I get more done than the days when I just wing it. Seems to me like you are doing a great job on this experiment. I am getting some good ideas for when I start mine after June 17.

Here I am shouting encouragement and waving flags of celebration for you!! I applaud your effort. As usual, it turns the mirror back to me and how scattershot my days can often be . But fercryinoutloud! You just finished a book!!!! That definitely deserves cupcakes and naps at least, if not champagne! I bet the Dalai Lama has cupcakes and naps when he finishes a book.
