Shambhala Mountain Center Writers’ Retreat
Have been at SMC for a week, teaching a meditation retreat for writers. It’s been incredible–magical, sweet, tender, and a little nutty. As has been the weather. We’ve had sunshine and snowstorms, darkness and light… Enjoy…

Looks like a fantastic place & hey, learning from you HAS to be a treat! One day, I hope to have the pleasure of attending one of your writer’s retreats.
I wondered what the snow looked like…so different from the weekend! Thanks for posting some photos. Are you all going to be stuck there past tomorrow? I also appreciate the shrine room photo–nice reminder of a great weekend.

Once again, you’ve made a container for the magic! Victoria, you have to find a way to attend, the retreats are absolutely amazing and Susan is a great teacher.
Linda, will post some more photos. Most of us aren’t stuck, although one person’s flight was canceled and so will stay till tomorrow. What an awesome spot to get stuck…

I absolutely loved your writers-meditation retreat, Susan. And I am happy to say, I’ve continued the process of meditating every morning, followed up by free-writing. It’s opened up a wonderful new world for me. Thank you. Can’t wait to attend your next workshop in LA!
